In North America, Seattle, Suggested Dining, Suggestions, Travel Tips & Advice, USA by AnyaLeave a Comment

If you know me, then you’ll know that my family and I are VEGAN! One of the best things about traveling the world with a backpack full of memories is the WONDERFUL VEGAN FOOD that we get to eat pretty much everywhere we go! In this post, I share a few of my family’s and my FAVORITE vegan restaurants here in Seattle! Vegan dining is growing around the world, so why not try some when you make a trip to Seattle?!  The restaurants below, in no particular order, are ones that we go to almost EVERY WEEK that have delicious, healthy food.  The following are a MUST!

Plum Bistro

We have been going to Plum Bistro for many, many years now, and the food has always been absolutely delicious and very healthy.  Of all the restaurants listed, Plum Bistro is top of my list because the food is unique to Seattle, it’s vegan, it’s healthy, and most of all it is SO GOOD.

NOTE:  Plum Bistro’s timings do change, so please call them before going!

Veggie Grill

Veggie Grill is a vegan fast-food restaurant chain that also has a sit-down area.  Founded in 2006 in Irvine, California, Veggie Grill has 29 locations to date, spread over California, Illinois, Washington, and Oregon.  Veggie Grill is a great place to go for healthy, vegan, and fast American food.  They have an excellent take-out system, and pack their food very well.

Harvest Beat

Harvest Beat has absolutely delicious tasting-food.  They require a reservation, and have a set menu that changes everyday.  Their 5-course meal takes around 2 hours, and they are open only Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7-9 pm.  Their food is all freshly-picked from their very own farms, and they make every single thing from scratch.  Being on the more expensive-side of dining in Seattle, Harvest Beat is a great place to go to for not only the food, but for the experience of lavish eating.

TIP:  If you would like to be allowed to go into the kitchens, sit in their fire-room!

NOTE:  Remember, you HAVE to make a reservation.  They get booked pretty quickly, so no walk-ins are allowed.
